We are looking for a Restaurant General Manager to join the Food & Beverage team at the Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea. The resort is a Forbes 4-Star, AAA 4-Diamond property with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and seven food and beverage outlets, including three restaurants and three bars.
In this role you will manage day‑to‑day operations of Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa, oversee a team of 30‑40 front‑of‑house staff, and report directly to the Director of Food & Beverage.
Shift: Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Rate: $90,000 annually, based on experience and location.
What will you be doing?
- Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations, including guest service standards, product quality, cost control, marketing initiatives, budgeting, department management, policy implementation, and meeting facilitation.
- Monitor and develop team member performance; provide supervision, professional development, evaluations, and recognition.
- Create and maintain a customer database and partner with Sales and Marketing on marketing strategy.
- Maximize efficiency through technology systems such as Open Table.
- Monitor service and satisfaction trends, evaluate issues, and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
- Initiate and implement up‑selling techniques to promote restaurant offerings and overall revenue.
- Recruit, interview, and train team members.

- At least 2–3 years of restaurant management experience in an upscale dining environment.
- Experience managing high‑volume operations and unionized work environments is preferred.
