• Provides professional and courteous service to all customers inside the store, outside the store, and on the phone.
• Assures merchandise is placed on the sales floor in a timely manner.
• Ensures items are rung accurately on the register.
• Demonstrates accurate cash handling skills including making change, operating and maintaining the cash register, checking and charging card machines, and use of a calculator.
• Makes customers feel welcome and addresses questions promptly.
• Keeps floor merchandise neat and orderly and assists customers with purchase selections.
• Maintains a clean, professional appearance.

• Maintain an orderly and clean register area.
• Familiarize with store security procedures and exercise security practices when necessary.
• Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping shelves, dusting, and restroom cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods up to 7 hours per shift.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 40 pounds frequently.

• Minimum of six months of previous work experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of a cash register.
• Fluent in English; multilingual preferred.
