Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and program PLC and HMI applications for automated manufacturing systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex control system issues, including electrical, software, and hardware failures.
- Lead the commissioning, startup, and validation of new equipment and production lines.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, control system documentation, and software backups.
- Implement process improvements and optimizations to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production personnel on control systems.
- Specify, integrate, and configure automation components such as robots, vision systems, and motor drives.
- Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and troubleshooting.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA system design, development, and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, Profinet).
- Knowledge of process instrumentation, sensor technologies, and PID control loops.
- Ability to read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics and P&IDs.
- Experience with industrial robotics or advanced motion control systems.
- Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) programming and integration.
- Familiarity with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection or guidance.
- Knowledge of data historians (e.g., OSI PI, Ignition) and database integration (SQL).
- Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration with control systems.
