Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and optimize tooling, jigs, fixtures, and molds for manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and modification of existing tooling to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve tooling-related issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement tooling improvements for efficiency and quality.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials and manufacturing methods for tooling components.
- Manage external tooling suppliers and vendors for new tool procurement and services.
- Maintain accurate documentation for tooling designs, specifications, and maintenance records.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software for tool design, simulation, and manufacturing
- Strong understanding of tooling design principles, material selection, and manufacturing processes (e.g., stamping, injection molding, machining)
- Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex tooling and production issues
- In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing principles related to tooling performance and lifespan
- Proficiency with advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, mold flow analysis).
- Experience with CAM programming for CNC machining.
- Knowledge of additive manufacturing techniques for tooling applications.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience integrating automation and robotics into tooling processes.
