Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for manufacturing.
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models, ensuring manufacturability.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for optimal performance and cost.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams on design integration.
- Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) and technical documentation.
- Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback for continuous product improvement.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new product designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Inventor, CATIA) for 3D modeling and technical drafting.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication) and their impact on design.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex design problems and develop innovative, cost-effective solutions.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD).
- Hands-on prototyping or workshop experience.
- Familiarity with various manufacturing processes beyond primary design scope (e.g., welding, casting, injection molding).
