All About Style: A team of consultants who understand how to meet guests where they are and deliver for them through strong operations, guest experience, and visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket. A Style Consultant is passionate about strong operations and providing an incredible guest experience, bringing the energy of style to life with in-store presentations that enable quick and easy self-discovery on the sales floor and in the fitting room.

At Target, we believe in team members having meaningful experiences that help them develop skills for a career. The role of a Style Consultant provides experience in guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, industry trends, and visual merchandising.

• Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and support guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by prioritizing fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute and maintain backroom organization to support replenishment and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes and signage execution for clearance merchandising.
• Maintain and use the fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from fitting room to sales floor as needed.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, Drive-Up, and maintain compliance with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with needs; thank guests for shopping with Target.
• Other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times).

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology
• Effective communication and the ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and stay focused in a fast-paced environment

• Accurate cash handling as needed
• Ability to climb ladders and handle merchandise safely; lifting up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions depending on duties
• Mobility for the duration of a shift
