Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0397)  role description includes responsibilities related to guest service, checkout operations, and store support. Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.75 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested.
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App, including Wallet, and assist with order pickup, drive-up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns following store policies and escalate to leadership as needed.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stock during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up, and related duties while complying with applicable laws and policies.
• Carry out other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office tasks as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Must be able to remain mobile for scheduled shift duration.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and conditions; exposed to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
