DSHS ESA Support Enforcement Technician

We’re looking for two Support Enforcement Technicians to join our Virtual Legal office Support Team. Positions are full‑time permanent or full‑time non‑permanent for approximately 12 months. Opportunities are available in Everett, Tacoma, Olympia, Vancouver, Kennewick, Spokane, Wenatchee, and Yakima DCS offices.
Responsibilities- Process Housing Authority requests and compile, redact and hand work orders to Claims Officers.
- Process incoming OAH documents, make hearing reminder calls, and coordinate communications with Claims Officers, OAH staff, VLO staff, and clients.
- Enter and maintain case data in the Support Enforcement Management System (SEMS) and categorize & image case file documentation.
- Follow established procedures to refer customers to internal or external contacts.
- Research, verify and enter data into DCS computer systems; meet production goals; and support outside vendors.
- Operate imaging equipment, process payments and incoming mail with accurate handling.
- Consistent attendance, reliability and punctuality.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism.
- Can manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Understanding and ability to communicate child‑support statutes, regulations and programs.
- Excellent customer service skills for a diverse audience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and data‑entry keyboarding.
- Minimum two years of college‑level coursework OR equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license for state business travel; liability insurance for private vehicle travel.
- Background check may be conducted before hiring.
