Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Permanent position with recently increased rates (as of 11.1.23)

• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices

• Conduct procedures with PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)

• Perform esophageal dilatation/manometry procedures

• Complete small bowel biopsies as required

• Conduct lower GI endoscopy procedures including flexible sigmoidoscopy

• Perform colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp

• Experience with endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) required

• Board certification required with current BLS certification

• Fellowship trained with 0-1 patient encounters per shift

• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days

• Position starts ASAP with ongoing duration

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
