Facility:
This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility providing comprehensive inpatient care to the Walla Walla community. The hospital is a Level 3 trauma center with 24-hour availability of key support services including anesthesia, cardio-thoracic surgery, catheterization lab, general surgery, laboratory, orthopedic surgery, and radiology services.

Opportunity:
Board Certified - Hospitalist

Job Details:

• Provide hospitalist coverage for day shifts (7am-7pm), Tuesday to Tuesday, for 1-2 weeks per month starting mid-March/beginning of April

• Manage 10-15 patient encounters per shift in an inpatient setting

• Required to handle ICU patients with ventilator management - must have case logs reflecting 15 cases in past 24 months

• Perform non-invasive ventilation management

• Manage ventilation (acute and chronic preferred)

• Conduct EKG interpretation (required)

• Arterial line placement (preferred)

• Perform cardiac stress test interpretation (preferred)

• Must be licensed in WA or have IMLC eligibility
• ACLS certification required
• Board certification required

• Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days

• Evidence of case logs must be included with application for ICU privileges

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
