$80,000 to $100,000, paid time off, 401(k) retirement plan, and 100 percent company-paid employee health, life, and disability insurance. Approximately 85 to 90 percent of family medical is also covered.
Anderson Perry & Associates, Inc. (AP) is seeking to expand our transportation engineering services in all our office locations. In this role, you will work directly with senior engineers and project managers to assist with delivery of a variety of transportation projects. AP offers transportation engineering services to DOTs and other local public agencies including roadways, streets, sidewalks, pedestrian facilities, and small bridges and culverts.

Under the supervision of our senior staff, you will be responsible for assisting with the development of all aspects of transportation projects including funding, scope, fee and contract development, project planning; project permitting; cost estimate, pre-design work, design, specifications, and bidding document preparation, construction support, and project closeout. As directed, you will work with clients, regulatory personnel, contractors, and subconsultants and attend and participate in project meetings where you may present on specific aspects of the project.
Qualifications- A four-year civil engineering degree from an accredited university.
- Four plus years of transportation engineering experience.
- A Professional Engineer’s License in Oregon and/or Washington, or the ability to obtain one within one year of employment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Public speaking skills with experience participating in meetings with clients, the public, and contractors.
- Familiarity with municipal infrastructure funding programs and procedures.
- Experience in developing and writing planning documents, work agreements, and task orders.
- Experience with Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and other PDF tools is desired but not mandatory.
- Experience working with subconsultants.
- Willingness to contribute to a team environment.
- Experience with scheduling, managing resources, and producing timely deliverables.
- An interest in developing effective, long-lasting relationships with clients, peers, and management.
