Description
Under general supervision of the Supervisor & Manager, Diagnostic Imaging and according to established policies and procedures, performs echocardiograms to produce diagnostic data assessing heart function and capability to be used by the cardiologist to enhance the care and treatment of the patient. In doing so, obtains pertinent patient information and explains the purpose and duration of testing to the patients, reviews image data and calculation measurements for interpreting provider, and provides other diagnostic testing defined by scope of practice.
Shift: Full‑time, 40 hours weekly, Day shift.
- Coursework/Training:
Successful completion of an accredited academic program in Echocardiography or equivalent education/experience - Upon hire:
National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or - Upon hire:
National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - 2 years Ultrasound/Cardiovascular experience
- 1 year echocardiography experience.

Pay Range$41.65 – $64.65 per hour, with additional compensation potential for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
