Job Summary
The FPS focuses on empowering the family to solve problems, become self‑sufficient, and strengthen their relations with a variety of community resources. FPSs provide clinical service delivery, including thorough family assessment, identification of strengths and risk factors within the family, family service plan development, implementation, and outcomes identified in each plan in collaboration with social workers.
ResponsibilitiesProvide strength‑based family services, conduct thorough family assessments, develop and implement family service plans, collaborate with social workers to identify and achieve outcomes.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, social or behavioral science or closely related field OR Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral sciences or closely related field and two years’ paid experience delivering services to families and children.
- Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check.
- Currently have or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid Certification (Paid by SA)
- Current driver’s license, car, and car insurance.
- TB Test:
Within 7 days of first day of employment (Paid by SA). - Current or ability to obtain licensed, certified or agency affiliated as a counselor in the State of Washington under Department of Health healthcare professional credentialing guidelines.
- Master’s degree in social or behavioral science or closely related field from an accredited college or university plus minimum one‑year experience working with children and families.
