Radiation Therapist

Description

The Radiation Therapist Tech, R.T.(T), will provide services at appropriate levels to all patients in all settings within the department. The role also includes performing tasks and duties outlined in the Radiation Oncology Department's Policy and Procedures Manual, assisting with assigned administrative tasks, and maintaining clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs. This position is conducted under general guidance and direction by the department director, medical direction by the Radiation Oncologist, and immediate supervision by the Radiation Oncology Manager.

Full‑time, 40 hours weekly, Day shift.

• Completion of an A.R.R.T. recognized education program that is accredited by the JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education for Radiologic Technology).
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire, or
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.

• Completion of clinical rotations from an accredited radiation therapy program.
