Job Description
For this Hospice RN position, Walla Walla expects an experienced RN that comes with hospice case management experience to manage a case load of 15 patients, 4-5 visits per day depending on area and acuity level of patient, complete charting same day. RN must be willing to perform all service level nursing (routine, GIP, continuous, and respite), must be willing to perform admission, SIA and death visits, must be licensed in WA and preferably OR state nursing board, have a reliable vehicle to cover a 60 mile service radius (mileage will be covered at IRS standard rate), clean background check in WA and OR, drug screening, Influenza/TB/Covid vaccination records, and valid auto insurance.
Clinician may float to Oregon sites therefore, Oregon RN license is encouraged, however not required at submittal . Application for OR licensure is required upon accepting the contract!
Submission Requirements
- Provider must have 1+ years minimum of current Hospice Case Management experience - (REQUIRED)
- Active Washington or Compact license - (REQUIRED) (DOCUMENT)

- Must have active DL and Auto Insurance - (REQUIRED)
- Acute/Med Surg experience (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- Will consider locals at a 10% reduced rate

OT/Holiday: 1.25x the bill rate
On call: $9 when applicable
Call back: 1.25x the bill rate - A minimum of 2 hours applies to any call-back services provided
Unbillable Orientation: 0 hours nonbillable orientation
Cancellation policy: WWCH reserves the right to cancel 3 shifts per 13 weeks
Mileage Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursed per IRS Standard from work site to work siteEMR: Well Sky Consolo. No Oasis, just HOPEDress code: Scrubs of any color, no artificial nails, closed-toe shoes, hair up as applicable
