Job OverviewThe Department of Corrections (DOC) has a permanent, full‑time COOK 2 opening within the Reentry Division. Position #W362 is located at Reynolds Reentry Center in Seattle, WA. Work hours are Monday – Thursday, 03:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Hours are determined by unit needs and may differ for alternate schedules.
Eligibility & Transfer Criteria- Request a transfer under Article 4.7 of the WFSE CBA.
- Permanent DOC employee.
- Currently hold permanent status in the recruited class.
- Currently in a position represented by WFSE.
- Submit a request to docreentrytransfers.gov
. Reference the position number(s) and include full name, personnel number, current job title and work unit.
- Refusal of the offer bars another Article 4.7 transfer for 12 months.
- Acceptance of the offer bars another Article 4.7 transfer for 24 months.
