American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with WA state license and Epic experience for a Level III Trauma Center's outpatient radiation oncology department.
Requirements- Active WA state license required in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
- Compact license accepted
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in radiation safety, beam modifying/positioning, and CBCT/kV/mV imaging
- Experience with pretreatment, CT simulation, and simulation of treatment sites preferred
- Experience treating conditions including heterotopic bone, keloids, and prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials
- Skilled in IMRT, respiratory gating, and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS)
- Knowledge of billing for treatment types and devices
- Adult outpatient radiation oncology setting
- Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No floating between units required
- Uses ARIA, GE, True Beam, and Varian 21 ex/ix treatment units
- Uses Varis-Vision/ARIA for record and verify systems
- Epic charting system required
- Perform radiation therapy treatments across a range of techniques and treatment sites
- Open to first‑time travelers
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
- Scrubs of any color accepted across all units
- No parking fees at this facility
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a lower bill rate
- Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3 month waiting period
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
