Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Day shift
We are seeking an energetic individual with a keen eye to detail and a positive attitude for the role of Industrial Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement while fulfilling the role. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Base pay range
$58,000.00/yr - $72,000.00/yr
Job Summary
This role involves working with electrical, pneumatic and electronic instruments to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level and composition. Responsibilities include calibrating, repairing, maintaining and adjusting system components, and installing and maintaining instruments and controls on new or existing equipment.
Position offers
- Pay: $28 - $35 per hour (DOE)

- Work schedule:
Days 7am-3:30pm, bi-weekly pay
Responsibilities
- Work with electrical, pneumatic and electronic instruments to measure and control variables; calibrate, repair, maintain and adjust system components; install and maintain instruments and controls on equipment
- Experience with changing electric motors, water/vacuum pumps, gear boxes
- Plastics/Extrusion experience a plus
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong, logical decision-making skills with solid time management and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Professional demeanor under pressure with a positive attitude
- Ownership and accountability
- Effective English communication (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of Health and Safety practices with excellent housekeeping and organizational skills
- Perform various other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Working Conditions
- Requires high mobility with walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting 50-75 lbs
- Fast-paced environment with significant sensory attention required
- Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, and use of sharp tools; personal safety considerations apply
