The Manager assists the Nurse Director with the planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient care services for the Intensive Care Unit at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. The Intensive Care Unit encompasses ICU level patients, Step Down patients, and our Hemodialysis program. The Manager provides clinical oversight and support of assigned areas including quality improvement and quality assurance monitoring, provides clinical staff education and staff competency monitoring, supervises staff orientation as developed by the Director, provides follow up on safety events, anticipates department staffing needs on a daily basis, ensures accurate payroll, regularly performs leader rounds, and other operational activities as delegated.

Required Qualifications- Graduate of accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institute, or in process and completed within 3 years of hire into position.
- Upon hire:
Washington Registered Nurse License - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - Within 90 days of hire: ACLS
- 3 years experience in emergency, trauma, or critical care nursing.
- 2 years Supervisory or charge nurse capacity.
- Coursework/Training:
Certification in critical care nursing (e.g., CCRN)
