Summary

This position is not eligible for benefits. As a Registered Nurse Field Assessor (FA), you will complete Long Term Care insurance assessments. These assessments are hands-off and require you to obtain claimant demographics, physician information, a current medication list, and evaluate the claimant’s functional level of independence.

Responsibilities

• Complete Long Term Care insurance assessments, including gathering claimant demographics, physician info, and medication lists.
• Evaluate the claimant’s functional independence and safety at home.
• Demonstrate good clinical reasoning and judgment, especially regarding ADL performance and cognition.
• Be comfortable with point-of-care technology during assessments.

Education and Experience

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• At least 2 years of home health or equivalent nursing experience serving older adults.
• Willing to obtain professional liability insurance if not already held.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
