DSHS Lakeland Village Registered Nurse 3

Location:

Lakeland Village, Medical Lake, Washington.

Shift: 2:30PM - 11:00PM with Sunday and Monday OFF.

We're looking to hire a Registered Nurse 3 to enhance the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities at Lakeland Village.

• Observe, monitor, and evaluate the job performance of nursing personnel
• Coach, teach, and mentor nursing personnel
• Documentation of counseling, Just Cause action, and job performance of designated nursing personnel
• Monitor and certify Time and Attendance of nursing personnel using facility‑established tracking methods
• Initiate, investigate, and appropriately route incident reports and other investigations as required within a designated timeframe
• Provide guidance in the prevention of infection as established by the Infection Prevention department; function as the primary nurse contact and liaison to the Infection Preventionist after hours for infection control matters
• Perform ongoing resident assessment to include assimilation of data gathered by other health care team members
• Assist in staffing to include receiving nurse sick calls and securing suitable nursing coverage to safely provide resident nursing care
• Plan, coordinate, and implement in‑services and training for Direct Care Staff and other members of the health care team
• Prepare and obtain lab work to include phlebotomy and other specimens as ordered by the physician/provider

• A valid Washington State License to practice as a registered, professional nurse
• Two years of professional nursing experience
• Must pass a background check to include fingerprinting
