Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact? In the behavioral healthcare field, your role is vital in promoting the well‑being and recovery of our patients and residents.
We’re currently hiring for a variety of roles including permanent, part‑time, and on‑call positions—across day, evening, and night shifts.
Some Of What You’ll Do- Assist with the rehabilitation of patients and residents according to the treatment plan.
- Promote a better understanding of hospital policies.
- Attend to the general care of patients and residents, provide emotional and physical comfort and safety, and maintain an attractive and comfortable environment.
- Participate in education programs and treatment team conferences.
- Care for patients/residents with communicable diseases including necessary sterilization and observation of aseptic techniques.
- Observe, record, and report the general condition of patients/residents.
- Participate in providing a therapeutic environment through acceptance of patients and residents behavior, and guidance toward more rational behavior.
- Administer prescribed medications to patients and residents.
- Proven ability to discern and apply practical nursing principles and concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform and interpret basic physical and treatment techniques.
- Detail‑oriented reporting and ability to relay clear, accurate information.
- CPR certified.
LPNs with a current Washington State license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Additional InformationPierce County employees are eligible to receive an Orca Card for transportation needs.
Opportunities performed on‑site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
Evening and night shifts include an additional $2.50 per hour shift differential.
