Our client is a modern, cloud-based accountancy practice providingbookkeeping, payroll, VAT, accounts, tax and outsourced finance support to SMEsacross Oxfordshire and beyond.
As their client base continues to grow, they are looking for a Practice Accountant (Tax & Accounts) to join their team on a part-time basis.
The Role:You'll support a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts and tax returns and providing day-to-day support. Working closely with the wider team,you'll help ensure work is completed accurately and deadlines are met, with the flexibility of part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing statutory annual accounts
- Preparing Corporation Tax returns (CT600)
- Preparing Self Assessment tax returns (SA100)
- SupportingVAT return reviews
- Supporting clients with day-to-day tax and accounting queries
- 2+years' experience working within a UK accountancy practice
- Confidentpreparing statutory annual accounts for owner-managed businesses
- Confidentpreparing Corporation Tax returns (CT600)
- Confidentpreparing Self Assessment tax returns (SA100)
- AATqualified (or part-qualified ATT/ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience)
- Comfortable using Xero or similar cloud accounting software
- Good attention to detail and a proactive, client-focused approach
This role isn't suitable for someone looking to move into practice forthe first time.
