My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy based in Didcot, is searching for a Drainage Modeller to join their Flood Risk Management Team.
The role requires a strong academic background in Civil Engineering, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering and experience working in a UK based Consultancy completing Drainage Modelling using Infoworks ICM and CSO design and/or Flood Mitigation for sewers. Residence locally is beneficial to work from the office three times a week.
This exciting Drainage Modelling role offers opportunities to assist with Flood Risk, Flood Mitigation, Flood Alleviation, Drainage, Climate Change Projects and Drainage Modelling Projects for European and Caribbean clients.
Responsibilities- Drainage Area Planning
- Flood alleviation schemes and flood mitigation for sewers
- Optioneering and solution development
- CSO design and network design using in-house tools
- Hydraulic modelling for Climate Change Projects, using Infoworks ICM to model the impacts of retrofitting Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in cities across Europe and the Caribbean
- Climate resilient planning strategies
- Analysing and evaluating the impacts of CSO spills and urban runoff discharges
- Developing drainage design with flood risk and spill risk mitigation
- Creating AI modelling solutions and tools for the design of SuDS
