Mission:
This role is ideal for military veterans with a background in Health & Safety operations and handling dangerous materials who want to apply their skills, precision, and teamwork mindset in a new mission, protecting people, property, and the environment across the UK.

Your Role

You will join a committed and capable Industrial Services team as a Decontamination Technician, working on deep cleaning operations, site decontaminations, emergency environmental response, and more. Every day brings a new challenge — from confined space entry to high-pressure jetting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out specialist cleaning tasks including tank cleaning, decontamination, decommissioning, and emergency response.
  • Work safely in high-risk environments using specialist PPE and equipment.
  • Follow risk assessments, site permits, and company safety procedures.
  • Maintain high housekeeping and equipment standards.
  • Accurately complete job documentation and support operational reporting.
  • Participate in training and the emergency response rota.
  • Assist with vehicle cleaning, waste collection, and related site duties.

Please note:

for safety compliance, a 140kg weight limit is strictly enforced for all technicians due to safety equipment weight limitations.

What You Bring
  • Experience in industrial cleaning, hazardous waste, or similar field preferred.
  • Strong health & safety awareness and commitment to working safely.
  • Physically fit, reliable, and team-oriented.
  • Flexible with working hours and travel.
  • Keen to develop through training and professional certifications (e.g. IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, NEBOSH/IOSH).
What’s On Offer
  • Competitive salary and discretionary annual bonus.
  • Pension scheme with matched contributions.
  • Life insurance cover.
  • 30 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays), rising with service, plus the option to buy up to 5 extra days.
  • Professional growth and development opportunities.
  • Supportive and inclusive work environment.
  • Contract:

    Full-time, permanent

Hours:

7am–3.30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) — flexibility required for project delivery, emergency response, occasional weekends, and working away from home.
