Overview
Our client is looking for a committed, courageous, and capable Decontamination Technician to join their team in Ewelme (Oxfordshire).
Mission:
This role is ideal for military veterans with a background in Health & Safety operations and handling dangerous materials who want to apply their skills, precision, and teamwork mindset in a new mission, protecting people, property, and the environment across the UK.
You will join a committed and capable Industrial Services team as a Decontamination Technician, working on deep cleaning operations, site decontaminations, emergency environmental response, and more. Every day brings a new challenge — from confined space entry to high-pressure jetting.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out specialist cleaning tasks including tank cleaning, decontamination, decommissioning, and emergency response.
- Work safely in high-risk environments using specialist PPE and equipment.
- Follow risk assessments, site permits, and company safety procedures.
- Maintain high housekeeping and equipment standards.
- Accurately complete job documentation and support operational reporting.
- Participate in training and the emergency response rota.
- Assist with vehicle cleaning, waste collection, and related site duties.
Please note:
for safety compliance, a 140kg weight limit is strictly enforced for all technicians due to safety equipment weight limitations.
- Experience in industrial cleaning, hazardous waste, or similar field preferred.
- Strong health & safety awareness and commitment to working safely.
- Physically fit, reliable, and team-oriented.
- Flexible with working hours and travel.
- Keen to develop through training and professional certifications (e.g. IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, NEBOSH/IOSH).

Full-time, permanent
Hours:
7am–3.30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) — flexibility required for project delivery, emergency response, occasional weekends, and working away from home.
