Are you an experienced Palliative Care Nurse, Hospice Nurse or Community Nurse looking to take the next step in your career?

This is an opportunity to join a specialist palliative care service, earning up to £45,129, with full or part-time hours available, excellent benefits and fully supported Non-Medical Prescribing training.

You'll provide specialist care to patients with life-limiting illnesses across Berkshire West and South Oxfordshire, working autonomously while being supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team.

The Role As a Senior Palliative Care Nurse, you'll manage patients with complex palliative and end-of-life care needs, providing specialist assessment, symptom management and clinical support.

You'll be responsible for:

Completing holistic assessments and developing individualised care plans
Managing complex symptoms and supporting patients approaching end of life
Providing specialist advice to patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals
Supporting telephone triage and responding to clinical enquiries
Working closely with GPs, community teams and the wider multidisciplinary team
Advocating for patients and ensuring compassionate, person-centred care
Maintaining accurate and high-quality clinical documentation

About You We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with:

Active UK NMC registration as an RGN/Adult Nurse
Previous palliative or end-of-life care experience
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
The confidence to work autonomously within a specialist multidisciplinary team

You don't need to already be a Non-Medical Prescriber. If you haven't completed the qualification, you'll receive full support to achieve it as part of your professional development.
