Building Supervisor

Join our Building Supervisor team as a Corporate Security Officer where you’ll be responsible for the security and front‑of‑house for CAE’s Helicopter Training Facility located at RAF Benson in Oxfordshire.

• Act as the key point of contact for the facility during both day and night shifts.
• Manage the front‑of‑house during day shifts, including welcoming customers and visitors, monitoring contractors, and operating the switchboard.
• Manage site security during night and weekend shifts: conduct regular building and perimeter patrols (lone‑working), perform building walk‑arounds to check for plant operation, leaks, hazards, and safety issues.
• Support administrative staff and provide cover during relief or break periods.
• Represent CAE professionally by answering calls, emails, switchboard messages, and distributing messages.
• Obtain and maintain SIA licence, first aid, and fire marshal training qualifications (company funded).
• Support staff engagement activities and initiatives.
• Maintain a rostered two‑week standby period to provide shift cover when required.

12‑hour shifts: 2 days on (06:00‑18:00), 2 nights on (18:00‑06:00), then 4 off. Following an 8‑day rotation, a two‑week standby period is required for additional shift cover.

• Excellent customer service skills and professional, courteous communication with customers and clients.
• Experience with corporate site security, preferably with an existing SIA licence.
• Proficiency with basic technology: MS Office, switchboards, phones.
• Ability to obtain and maintain training/licenses: SIA, first aid, fire marshal, and security clearance.

• Some experience in a front‑of‑house or customer‑facing role.

You must be able to obtain or transfer SC clearance (likely requiring 5 years of UK residency) and be able to obtain and maintain an SIA licence (company funded).
