What

You'll Do

Lead the development of bids, proposals, qualification packages, and other submission materials from initial concept through final delivery.
  • Review bid requirements:
Analyze requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for qualifications (RFQs), bid documents, and owner requirements to identify required information, forms, specifications, and submission deadlines.
  • Gather and coordinate information:
Work with internal teams and other project stakeholders to collect project details, qualifications, schedules, supporting documentation, and other required content.
  • Write and develop proposals:
Organize technical and project information into clear, professional, persuasive written materials tailored to each opportunity.
  • Proofread and edit:

  • Manage competing priorities:
Track deadlines, follow up on outstanding information, and keep multiple proposals and related projects on schedule.
  • Maintain proposal resources:
Update reusable content, project information, templates, and records within the company's CRM and document management systems.
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 3 years of professional proposal-writing experience, preferably in construction or a related industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, construction management, or a related field; equivalent hands‑on experience will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of construction industry terminology, project documentation, and bid and proposal requirements.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Creative Suite, including the ability to format documents and develop professional graphics.
  • Experience using an industry-specific CRM or proposal management system.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing and proofreading abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and strict deadlines simultaneously.
  • A proactive, self‑directed approach and the ability to jump in quickly, gather information, solve problems, and move projects forward with minimal direction.
