Teaching Assistant – Day-to-day supply across Wallingford and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible
These flexible opportunities are ideal for Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be supporting pupils across a range of year groups and abilities, helping to create inclusive and engaging learning environments.
Duties as Teaching Assistant:- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
- Provide one-to-one and small group support as required
- Help manage behaviour and promote positive social interactions
- Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
- Understanding of the national curriculum and classroom routines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant
- Ability to work flexibly across different schools and age groups
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- A positive, proactive, and patient approach to supporting pupils
