(SESI) seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to inspire, empower, and transform students across diverse developmental, cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. • Diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps for each student.
• Collaborate with school teams and families to provide personalized instruction and support.
• Deliver SESI’s evidence‑based learning models, instructional plans, and positive behavioral interventions and support framework.
• Utilize assessment data to adapt short‑ and long‑term plans and promote student academic performance.
• Maintain skill‑appropriate lesson plans and foster an environment of critical thinking and academic rigor.
• Apply behavior support and intervention strategies, including de‑escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint when necessary.
• Record, track, and report student growth toward goals, and maintain required forms and files.
• Participate in daily school functions, conferences, meetings, and training.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

• Run short distances and move swiftly in response to student needs (bending, kneeling, crouching).
• Lift and assist students with mobility challenges (up to 50 pounds or more).
• Manage fine‑motor tasks such as helping students write or use adaptive devices.
• Operate a computer or tablet for up to 8 hours daily.
• Remain calm and composed during physically and emotionally demanding situations, ensuring student safety and well‑being.

Posted Salary Range:
