We are partnering with a well-established and growing organization in the Wallingford, CT area that is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join its corporate accounting team. This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior leadership and an opportunity to take on broader responsibility over time.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in corporate accounting and financial reporting, enjoy working cross-functionally, and be motivated by long‑term growth and career progression.

• Support the month‑end and year‑end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and operational reports for management
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity
• Support audit activities and work with external auditors as needed
• Prepare and analyze profit center and operational P&Ls
• Assist with process improvements and system enhancements within accounting and finance
• Perform ad hoc financial and business analysis as requested by leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5–7+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or finance
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Experience working with ERP systems (JD Edwards or similar preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
