Skyview Rehab and Nursing is a short‑term and long‑term care facility located in Wallingford, CT. We are currently seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our team. This position requires an energetic, creative, cheerful, outside‑the‑box thinker who enjoys having fun with our residents.
Responsibilities- Plan and lead recreational activities for residents in a supportive and engaging manner.
- Assist residents with leisure and therapeutic programs on weekends and holidays.
- Maintain a safe environment and adhere to facility policies during all activities.
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Seniority level: Entry level
- Employment type: Part‑time (weekends and holidays)
- Salary: $20.00–$23.00 per hour
