Referral & Resource Specialist

Job Details

Base pay range: $24.27/hr - $41.60/hr

Location: Candidates must reside in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, or New York. This role is virtual full‑time with required in‑person training sessions.

Shift: 24/7, 365 days, with training Monday‑Friday 10am‑6pm EST.

• Take inbound calls, texts and chats from callers who may be in crisis.
• Perform safety screenings and assessments to determine risk to the individual or others.
• Use caller information to develop a plan of action in collaboration with the caller.
• Document interactions accurately and timely in accordance with established criteria.
• Provide linkage follow‑up to ensure services are accessed.
• Coordinate with agencies, organizations and individuals to optimize resources.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and other regulations.

• HS diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in behavioral health, or 6 months of direct crisis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• BS/BA in a mental health or related field and two years of direct experience working with individuals in need of behavioral health services.
• Call center experience.
• Suicide/crisis line support experience.
