ASG Information Technologies in Wallingford, one of Connecticut’s most recognized MSP, is expanding again. We are looking for well-rounded individuals with solid technical skills and great communication skills to expand our offerings. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and the ability to work with minimal management in a team environment where every member is an important part of our success.

Minimum 3 years experience in Windows service roles, preferably in systems administration and support. Microsoft and CompTIA certifications are preferable and move candidates to the front of the line, but nothing beats experience. The right individual likes taking charge and delivering a superb customer experience while correcting problems and handling issues for users. A stable work history is required. This role is a critical part of our client service delivery strategy and an opportunity to be part of an up-and-coming World Class MSP.

Work Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a help desk technician or Field Service Technician supporting Windows operating systems and apps
  • Experience supporting users in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer‑oriented and composed under pressure
  • High school diploma required; higher level degree or certifications desired
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Responsibilities
  • Ownership of assigned tasks
  • Coordination of service via phone, email using our PSA system
  • Being able to adapt and learn quickly
  • Ability and desire to develop relationships with clients and internal staff
  • Follow process and identify possible improvements
  • Time management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience with networking principles (entry level)
Technical Skills
  • Proficient with Windows desktop operating systems and server environments
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 platform
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace, Cisco, and HP solutions helpful
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCP, etc.
