Summary

The Sr. Manager – Global Supply Chain will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing supply chain strategies that optimize global sourcing, procurement, logistics, supplier quality, and inventory management across the organization. This is a leadership role overseeing approximately $125 million of annual global spending supporting six factories in the U.S., China, and India. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring supply continuity, mitigating risk, and driving cost efficiencies while supporting business growth.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep expertise in global supply chain management, proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, and strong experience working in highly regulated, complex manufacturing environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute global supply chain strategies aligned with corporate goals, focusing on resiliency, cost optimization, and supplier performance.
  • Lead dedicated teams for purchasing/procurement, supplier quality, strategic sourcing, and inventory control.
  • Integrate strategies across dedicated supply chain teams located in the U.S., China, and India.
  • Lead supplier sourcing, qualification, and performance management across a global supplier base, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical challenges, regulatory requirements, and single-source dependencies.
  • Implement data-driven decision making by leveraging ERP/MRP systems, KPIs, and supply chain analytics to track performance and identify opportunities.
  • Analyze excess & obsolete inventory trends, identifying root causes for unnecessary inventory purchases.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Program Management teams to align supply chain initiatives with business needs.
  • Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to applicable government regulations, trade compliance requirements, and company policies.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing supply chain team across multiple geographies, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in global supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Aerospace & Defense industry experience strongly preferred; knowledge of ITAR, FAR/DFARS, and export compliance required.
  • Proven track record in supplier development, contract negotiation, and global sourcing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and digital supply chain tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed global environment with shifting priorities.
  • 25% Travel
