Production Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, including planning, organizing, directing, and controlling production activities. This role focuses on optimizing resource utilization to enhance product quality, maximize output, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManage daily production process, maximizing efficiencies and maintaining high quality standards
Assign staff to meet daily production needs
Monitor daily CPI’s and make appropriate corrective actions for those below target
Supervise production personnel with a focus on growth and development of the team.
Develop, implement, and sustain a strong cross functional training plan
Work with Operations Manager to develop strong, efficient, quality driven production plans
Collaborate with the CI coordinator, process engineers, and management to implement and sustain a continuous improvement mindset
Ability to analyze production KPI’s, plans and processes to find areas in need of improvement.
Raise issues to the appropriate groups for them to be addressed.
Determine capacity constraints with the Process Engineers then work to develop plans to overcome them
Ensure your team is following Radiall Quality, Personnel and EH&S policies at all times
Job Skills , Specialized Knowledge or Certifications
Strong interpersonal and proven personnel management skills
Working relationship with Quality, understanding of ISO
9001, IPC CertificationsPromote continuous improvement culture into the team
