Conduct computer numerical controlled (CNC) equipment operation, ensuring precision machining and safety compliance in a warehouse environment.
Location & ScheduleWallingford, CT. Monday–Friday, 2nd Shift.
Key Accountabilities- Perform precision tool machining by monitoring feed rates, speeds, and specialized instruments.
- Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and scales to ensure accuracy.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions by editing specifications and performing maintenance.
- Execute preventative maintenance routines, keeping work spaces clean and safe.
- Meet production goals for cycle time, quantity, and quality to support machining excellence.
- Interpret blueprints, dimensions, machine instructions, and project guidelines.
- Apply working knowledge of CNC programming to meet specific parameters and calculations.
- Work under general supervision, handling moderately complex issues and escalating when needed.
- Demonstrate solid working knowledge of machining and fabrication processes.
- Mentor or coach junior team members to support development and team success.
- Operate in a warehouse environment around heavy machinery, adhering to safety protocols.

- Experience in CNC machining, preferably in a metals-focused environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Dependable work ethic and ability to work independently on 2nd shift.

Hourly: $26–$32 per hour plus $0.50 shift premium.
