Job DescriptionNow Hiring: 2nd Shift Machine Operator
Location: Wallingford, CT
Pay: $21-$22 per hour plus .50 shift premium
Shift: 2nd Shift (Full-Time)

What You’ll DoAs a Machine Operator, you’ll be working directly on the warehouse floor—setting up equipment, operating heavy machinery, and ensuring that all materials are processed to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts (certification required).
- Pull, inspect, and verify product before processing.
- Set up and run machines based on setup notes and work orders.
- Ensure all processed material meets quality and measurement specifications.
- Accurately record inspection data and maintain material .
- Communicate order changes or clarifications with sales reps.
- Perform preventative maintenance and general equipment clean-up.
- Weigh, package, and label materials correctly.
- Identify, record, and segregate scrap or non-conforming material.
- Train others when needed and assist with lean/quality initiatives.
- Follow all safety protocols—this is a hands-on role near heavy machinery.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Basic math skills; ability to read and write clearly
- Previous warehouse or metals industry experience preferred
- Certified forklift and crane operation experience
- Proficiency with handheld measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Comfortable using computers for data entry
