Salary$21.50/hr - $35.00/hr
Responsibilities- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and smallwares.
- Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored in their designated spots on the clean racks.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, drains, walls, and shelves in the dish area.
- Clean dish room using hot water, hoses, cleaning chemicals, scrub pads, and brushes according to established SOPs and to meet company standards.
- Empty trash containers and replace liners.
- Replenish dish room supplies as needed and notify purchasing when needed.
- Utilize cleaning checklists and adhere to Safety and Master Sanitation Schedule Operating Procedures.
- Follow established hazardous material safety procedures.
- Comply with established procedures, including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
- Practice safe use of tools and equipment required by position.
- Practice proper care and maintenance of equipment.
- Help with any cleaning emergencies that occur in the facility.
- Report all life safety and fire hazards and other violations of company policy to leadership and report accidents and injuries immediately.
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned and other duties/special projects as assigned by facility leadership.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to follow directions and procedures, effective time management and organization skills.
- Ability to work well with others, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the facility, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must adhere to company dress code and standards of production kitchen dress and PPE.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodation.
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
- Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure to temperatures: 90°F.
- Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
- Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- May require use of ladders.
