Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary: Our Personal Lines Account Managers are responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met, and providing outstanding service. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in insurance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish & maintain strong relationships and make periodic decisions on account updates and coverages.
  • Review exposures and current insurance program for assigned clients.
  • Determine if current carrier is the best fit for the client, considering coverage, protection, and cost effectiveness.
  • Work with producers on development and decisions about plans of action and coverages for new accounts.
  • Provide day‑to‑day service, anticipate customer needs, and respond to client questions and issues promptly.
  • Keep customers up to date on pending changes in the insurance world that may impact their coverage.
  • Monitor carrier activities to ensure they fulfill responsibilities (e.g., accurate issue of policies, timely claims handling).
  • Complete account reviews.
Education and Experience
  • 3‑5 years of prior insurance industry experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or the recognized equivalent, required.
  • Maintain a P&C License, required.
  • Proficiency with Windows programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Pay Details: The base compensation range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000, based on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
