Pay: $45.00
Purpose
The Kleemann Field Service Technician is responsible for setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Kleemann crushing and screening plants and associated systems at customer sites.
Responsibilities- Install, assemble, and commission Kleemann crushers, screens, stackers, hydraulic and electrical subsystems per manufacturer specifications and site requirements.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults; perform repairs, part replacements, and system adjustments to restore safe, efficient operation.
- Execute scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance programs—including lubrication, wear part replacement, belt tracking, and structural inspections—and recommend improvements to extend equipment life.
- Provide on‑site operator orientation, explain proper maintenance procedures, and coach customer staff on safe operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Complete accurate service and inspection reports, commissioning records, parts usage logs, and timekeeping in company systems.
- Enforce and follow site safety protocols and company HSE standards; perform risk assessments and ensure all work meets regulatory and manufacturer safety requirements.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ hands‑on field service experience with heavy mobile crushing & screening equipment or large stationary aggregate/mining equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude: experience with bearings, shafts, gearboxes, crushers (jaw, cone, impact), screens, conveyors and vibratory equipment.
- Proficient in hydraulic systems: pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, hydraulic troubleshooting and schematic reading.
- Solid electrical/electronic knowledge: 12–480 V AC and DC systems, motor controls, instrumentation diagnostics and wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, hydraulic/electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience using diagnostic tools, welding, fabricating, and alignment tools.
- Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills.
- Good communication skills for customer interactions and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel frequently and work in remote locations.
- Physically demanding work: lifting up to 25–50 kg, climbing, working in confined spaces and at heights, exposure to dust, noise, and outdoor weather.
- Ability to start early or work late, including weekends based on demand.
- Also will require 3–5‑day trips to the manufacturer for training as needed.
