Midday Assistant
Hours ofwork:
Monday to Friday 12:00-1:20pm, 6hrs 40minutes per week, term-time only,43.5wks paid per year
Salary:
Scale 2 Point 5 £ 27,180 FTE / £4,087.82 Actual
Fixed Term to start ASAP and end 21/07/2027
Greenstedis a vibrant and inclusive educational environment dedicated to fostering the potential of all our students. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Midday Assistant to join our team and support our students during lunch breaks.
Key Responsibilities:- To maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break
- To set up areas of the playground with toysand activities and ensure that pathways and playground areas are free from obstructions
- To follow the school behaviour policy and encourage good standards of behaviour at all times
- To establish positive relationships with pupils
- To follow the MDA rota
- Experience working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience,empathy, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
