The Role
- To work alongside production & quality to get general ownership of the safety standards within the work area.
- Someone who can show innovation and bring new ideas into the organisation, who can make proposals and then act to implement those ideas
- Hands-on role - you'll be based in an office in a fabrication hall alongside the Supervisors
- The aim is to change behaviours and build a culture around HSE
- Refer non-compliance to HR if required.
- You'll oversee the supervisors and the workforce from an HSE perspective
- Liaise with the client, be involved in weekly joint client inspections, produce reports and action trackers.
- Incident investigation, writing investigation reports
- Generally improve HSE standards and behaviours
- Ideally have experience of policing HSE in a fabrication environment
- NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum
- Good experience of report writing
- Qualified to at least HNC level
