At Storage PRO, our people are the heart of everything we do. We're a collaborative, supportive team that values accuracy, curiosity, and doing right by each other and our customers. As our Commercial Property Accountant, you'll prepare and maintain financial records to track the store/property’s balance sheet and income statement activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare monthly financial statements, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and book journal entries
Record and reconcile tenant rent charges and payments (ACH, wires, checks) and keep tenant ledgers accurate
Follow up on delinquencies and manage collections
Lead year-end CAM reconciliations and verify calculations against leases
Partner with operations and asset management on property operating budgets
Track tenant certificates of insurance
Enter and maintain lease data in our property management/accounting systemQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in accounting, plus 2-4 years of commercial property accounting experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Proficient in planning and organizing tasks, managing priorities, and utilizing available resources to complete tasks within the deadline
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
