Estimated Pay: $50K – 60K per year

What We Are Looking For

This entry-level bookkeeping role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to grow with a fast-paced company. The Bookkeeper will focus on core bookkeeping tasks such as managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll, maintaining records, and supporting financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  Process and record invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Record Maintenance:
  Ensure financial records are organized, up-to-date, and properly documented in Quick Books Online.
• Payroll Assistance:
  Support the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
• Sales Tax Filing:
  Assist with monthly sales tax returns and ensure timely submissions.
• Financial Reporting Support:
  Help with preparing basic financial reports for internal review.
• Administrative Support:
  Assist the team with general office tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Experience:
  
  1-3 years in bookkeeping or a related field (preferred but not required if you’re eager to learn).
• Tech
  
  Skills:
  
  Familiarity with Quick Books Online and basic knowledge of tools like Slack, Google Suite, and cloud-based systems.
• Attention to Detail:
  Meticulous in reviewing and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Able to clearly and professionally communicate with team members and vendors.
• Team Player:
  Comfortable working in a small, collaborative environment and wearing multiple hats.
• In-Office Position:
  Based in Walnut Creek, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
