Job OverviewOur organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities- Oversee all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate with team members to ensure on‑time, under‑budget execution.
- Manage the financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interests while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure alignment with timeline, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Implement effective communication plans, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing with all stakeholders.
- Identify and manage potential risks or hurdles, providing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure construction projects adhere to all building codes, legal requirements, safety standards, and ethical practices.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
- Ensure quality construction standards and proper construction techniques are applied.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (NOT REQUIRED). - Proven track record of managing large‑scale construction projects from initiation to completion.
- In‑depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, time‑management, and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent delegation abilities while maintaining overall project control.
- Superior negotiation, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Proficiency in project‑management software tools.
- PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
