- Engage in engineering and design of HVAC and plumbing systems for various facility types.
- Support design and construction activities related to HVAC and plumbing projects.
- Participate in project delivery methods including Traditional Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid-Build.
- Work with facilities such as Power Generation buildings, Substations, Oil & Gas structures and Energy Storage buildings.
- Contribute to projects across the globe from small community improvements to mega projects.
- Apply CFD studies and energy audits/efficiency assessments as part of engineering analyses.
- Perform code reviews and application for facility code compliance; contribute to sustainable design/LEED efforts.
The Mechanical Buildings Design Group provides HVAC and plumbing solutions for BV’s markets. The role offers exposure to exciting projects worldwide and emphasizes collaboration, growth, and career development within BV Operations.
Preferred Qualifications- Basic knowledge of NFPA standards
- Computer‑generated HVAC load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment sizing
- Technical Submittal and Bid review processes
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Bluebeam Revu
- LEED AP certification with experience obtaining LEED certification for industrial buildings
- Extensive experience with large‑scale water‑cooled chillers (preferred)
- International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes
- ASHRAE Handbooks/Standards
- ASPE design handbooks
- SMACNA Standards
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent engineering experience
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience
- Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search) as applicable
- Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries

Work Environment and Schedule- Office environment with potential for prolonged sitting and computer use; may include physical tasks during site visits (crouching, grasping, standing/walking)
