REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 7-15 years in a structural design role
- 3+ years experience with 3D modeling in Revit
- Strong experience in heavy industrial projects

An environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities is looking to bring on a Structural CAD Designer. As part of the Structural CAD team, you will work on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including but not limited to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world.
This person will be responsible for a variety of project elements, including drafting, design, checking, and both 2D and 3D drawings. To integrate into the team efficiently, this person will need a strong background in Revit, including proficient skills that are ready to deploy. This person will need a strong understanding of BIM as it relates to structural design of industrial projects.
This role will be a 6 month contract‑to‑hire model, with the primary goal being a permanent conversion. This role can pay anywhere between $41‑$48/hr depending on years of experience, with permanent conversion salary coming in at or above that rate. This person will be required to work 2‑3 days in the Walnut Creek office, with flexibility for addition remote time as needed.
