Senior BESS Performance Analyst

Join Canadian Solar and help deliver innovative battery energy storage solutions. As a member of our Engineering team, you will support the commissioning, monitoring, and optimization of Sol Bank Lithium‑Iron Phosphate battery systems.

In this role, you will report to the Senior Performance Engineering Manager, contribute to exciting projects, and help us set new standards for quality and sustainability in the industry. Your work will directly impact our mission to create a cleaner, brighter future.

• Support the commissioning, performance monitoring, and operational diagnostics of Solbank Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Apply strong technical expertise in BESS systems and data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and potential fault conditions.
• Assist with commissioning and troubleshooting of Solbank BESS systems under the direction of the Performance Engineering Manager.
• Analyze operational and performance data to identify trends, system inefficiencies, and potential fault conditions.
• Support remote and on‑site diagnostics of BESS faults, alarms, and performance deviations.
• Assist in capacity testing, data collection, and analysis.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, including system performance reports and diagnostic logs.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on system performance and reliability.
• Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with safety protocols, engineering standards, and company policies.
• Maintain and improve system reliability and performance.
• Team up with talented colleagues and partners to achieve project goals.
